I havent forgotten you sketch winners! @.@ 's marionette character James looking wonderfully floppy and dolly. I like how the pencils came out in this one so I didn't ink- an actual sketch illustration out of all those inked in ones? Go fig.
Something about the sketch is a little... depressing to be honest.
I mean, not the quality, but the look. He looks like a toy that's been tossed in some old box for a couple of years, then found by someone. The looks up out of the box, a hopeful look on his worn face.
No thats great! I love that the sketch has ignited a story and idea behind the illustration. As depressing as it is, it adds that extra something to a sketch to have a story where it would otherwise stand alone.
Overanalyzing or not, reading this comment made me look at the sketch in a different light and I like it all over again in a bittersweet way. Thanks for your comments!

lol this is really great. a really interesting and uniquely designed chara, as interpreted by kozi. This certainly is a really nice sketch illustration. I especially like the face and eyes.
