Commission for a pal over at GaiaOnline of his detective character who is a huge Rorschach fan. Man..I need practice with guns and the hands that hold them. >.>

Sidenote: Have you noticed lately my recent gallery palate is a whole bunch of warm greys and sepias? I better submit something ridiculously colorful to break the monotony.

SOMEONE (Who shall remain nameless) said I should make an account. So I deleted my one of 6 years and made one with a username I liked.

Yes, but warm greys and sepias ARE sexy! If wisely used they add a lot of "atmosphere" and you indeed did great jobs with those tones.
And BTW, from the bottom to the top I see a butterfly, a scorpion, a floatin mushroom-alien and a manga-style fox...

He looks like he's holding the tippy-tip of that gun's grip. Remember that your thumb actually DOES things - it has to reach the thingy-a-ma-jig that cocks the gun (that's the technical term, yes) and once you've reached it, you don't reposition your hand. For a little revolver like that, you'd probably not see much of the grip at all through his man-hands. If he shot it now, it'd probably fly out of his hand from the kickback, lol.

Otherwise, did you actually make those Rorschach patterns? The top right one looks like a pelvic bone :p
