Mythomania

Ever feel like Andy Go? Dreaming of getting that big break to jump-start your dream comic book career, but your path is just pock marked with rejection letters? Not to mention many a Friday night spent in front of your pages while your friends are off living it up? If you can relate to those unique artistic woes and are in the mood for a super groovy story, be sure to check out Mythomania-a web series created by one of my favorite comic book artists, Derek Kirk Kim.

Interesting note Mythomania is a spin-off series of TUNE (tunecomic.com). Mythomania and TUNE are alternate timelines that stem from the same story. Both stories share the same characters but Andy Go and his friends go down very different paths after college in each series. Ahh, so crafty!

SPEAKING of crafty, there's still a couple days left to enter the Face Your Monster Contest! The Spo00o0ky window to submit entries stays open until November 1, 2011 at 11:59 PM Pacific.

Since we're on the subject of awesome comic art, I figure I'd toss in a couple of my favs here. I highly suggest giving them a read if you've grown tired of all the mainstream capes and tights titles.
